Hats off to the boys team for defeating Rossview 4-2 in the Region 5AAA finals in Hendersonville. This makes the nineth consecutive regional title for the Commandos.
Tuesday, May 10
The Commandos defended their district title by defeating Mt Juliet 4-2. The score makes it look like an easy win, but it was a tough battle from beginning to end. The Lady Commandos finished runner up again this year to Beech. The girls went into doubles leading 3-2, but dropped both doubles matches to lose 3-4. The girls had a great season and really did more than expected according to some. They defeated the #2 seed Mt Juliet in the semifinals 4-2 and beat Gallatin 4-1 in the quarterfinals, which we lost to in regular season. It was an excellent season for a great group of girls.
